Shawn Pacheco
OWNER | DIRECTOR
Shawn Pacheco has been involved in the dance community for over 28 years. As an award winning choreographer, Shawn Is a leader in the industry of dance instruction. He has had extensive training in Jazz, Tap, Acrobats, Lyrical, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. His successful time as director for other dance studios has prepared him for this long awaited dream of being owner. In the start of just the second season, Summit Dance Center was awarded best dance studio by distinguished teaching and has also won overall best dance studio by best of business rate 2024 + 2025.
Shawn never stops learning and training in order to provide better knowledge to his students. He has toured Asia in both countries of China and Macau for several months as a performer and instructor all while gaining experience for his teaching portfolio. Shawn was selected to perform with Stepp Stewart and Dr. Oz at the Sacramento Health Corps Gala. Other credits include HGTV and FOX's So You Think You Can Dance. Shawn has trained with many choreographers such as Chris Judd, Mia Michaels, Brian Friedman, Tyce Diorio, Dave Scott, Jaquel Knight, Parris Goebel, and many more. Hand selected by Cris Judd to perform at The Pulse on Tour's Final Night Gala in New York City. His choreography has received numerous outstanding recognition at many competitions including best choreography and overall highest scoring routine in multiple genres.

Kellie DeBrito
GYMNASTICS | ACRO COACH
Kellie DeBrito is a passionate and dedicated gymnastics coach with over 20 years of coaching experience, more than 10 years as an Acro teacher, and 20 years as a dancer. Her love for movement, performance, and teaching has allowed her to inspire countless athletes and dancers throughout her career. Kellie has proudly coached several successful gymnastics teams to first-place victories, including leading her team to the prestigious title of 2015 National Power Team Gym Champions in Hollywood, California. With a strong commitment to excellence, teamwork, and confidence-building, Kellie brings her years of experience and passion into every class and coaching opportunity. She is also CPR and First Aid certified, ensuring the safety and well-being of the athletes in her care. Outside of the studio, Kellie is the proud mother of two beautiful little girls, who are following in her footsteps as two amazing dancers. Watching them grow and develop their own love for dance is one of her greatest joys.

Sabrina Miguel
PEAK INSTRUCTOR
Sabrina Miguel has 16 years of dance training and began her dance journey at Rising Stars Dance Academy in RI, where she competed and earned numerous titles, overall awards, and special recognitions throughout her years of training. She has trained extensively in a variety of styles, including jazz, contemporary, lyrical, ballet, hip hop, musical theater, tap, and acro. Throughout her training, Sabrina has had the opportunity to learn from some of the industry’s top choreographers and attend prestigious conventions including JUMP, NUVO, and Radix. She has also competed and won numerous improv competitions, developing her confidence, musicality, versatility, and ability to think creatively on the spot.

Jorge De Paz
PEAK ADMIN
Jorge is an adventurous plant enthusiast and ERP Business Analyst with a passion for continuous learning, problem-solving, and finding opportunities to improve the way things work. In his professional role, he focuses on understanding business needs, improving processes, and helping bridge the gap between people, technology, and systems.
Outside of his career, he enjoys volunteering at Summit Dance Center, where he assists with administrative work and supports the center behind the scenes. Although he didn’t grow up in the dance industry, he has developed a genuine appreciation for the art and enjoys watching choreography evolve from an idea into a finished performance. Jorge says he especially enjoys being part of the process and seeing the creativity, dedication, and teamwork that goes into bringing each performance to life.
